The 400-meter race of women in the 2014 European Athletics Championships was from 12 to 15 August 2014 at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich held.

European champion was the Italian Libania Grenot . Silver went to Olha Semljak from Ukraine . The Spaniard Indira Terrero took third place.
