List of FDGB Cup winning coaches

This list of the FDGB Cup winning coaches names all football coaches who have won the FDGB Cup of the German Democratic Republic. At 29 years and 193 days, Hans Meyer was the youngest coach to be successful in the final. The oldest trainer was Alfred Kunze at the age of 56 years and 234 days.

The winning coach

Hans Meyer (photo from 1990) is together with Heinz Krügel the record-winning coach (three titles each). He was also the youngest winning coach at the age of 29.
Jürgen Bogs was able to win the cup twice; the photo shows him after the successful final in 1989.
Hans-Ulrich Thomale was also twice as successful; here on a photo from 1987.
Georg Buschner won the trophy in 1960 and coached the GDR national team from 1970 to 1981. The photo shows him in 1974.
Uwe Reinders (photo from 1990) won the last FDGB trophy held in 1991.
