List of National Wildlife Refuges of the United States

As of July 30, 2007, there were 548 National Wildlife Refuges in the United States . Refuges with shares in multiple states are only listed in states that have the main visitor entrance. The youngest refuge is the Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge in Colorado.

The United States is divided into eight administrative regions:
