List of the tributaries of the stove

The Kocher has a length of 168 km, a catchment area of 1961 km² and ten tributaries of over 10 km length, namely the Lein with 55 km, the Blinde Rot / Adelmannsfelder Rot with 27 km, the (Fichtenberger) Rot with 37 km, the Bibers with 21 km, the Bühler with 48 km, the Grimmbach with 11 km, the Kupfer with 26 km, the Sall with 21 km, the Ohrn with 32 km and the Brettach with 41 km. Of these, only the Blinde Rot / Adelmannsfelder Rot, the Bühler and the Grimmbach flow to him from the right. The great length of its tributary Lein on the upper course is remarkable, which at the point of confluence is more than twice as long as the Kocher upper course.

Detailed list of tributaries
According to TK25, LUBW-FG10 and LUBW-GEZG. Catchment area sizes mostly according to LUBW-GEZG, otherwise measured on the background map. Length preferably according to the data records of the LUBW-FG10, rarely measured on the background map. Names preferred to TK25. The names of the water bodies from the sources or landscape topographical names from the sources are in italics, with the help of which they are designated as an alternative where there was no name for the water body itself (valley names, name of the river, etc.). The generic terms used for this are not in italics.
Mill channels are usually not listed.
The lines of the LUBW-FG10, especially on the middle and lower reaches in the area of the Muschelkalk valley from Westheim, often consist of seasonally dry sections.
