Luciano Dalla Bona

Luciano Dalla Bona (born November 8, 1943 in Pressana ) is a former Italian cyclist and world champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Dalla Bona won gold medals twice at the UCI Road World Championships in the team time trial. In addition, there was the bronze medal at the World Championship at the Nürburgring in Germany in 1966 , also in the team time trial. At the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo , he won silver in his specialty discipline with the Italian four-team. In autumn of that year he won a stage of the Tour de l'Avenir . In 1966 he started for Italy in the International Peace Tour , which he finished 42nd.

In 1967 he became a professional driver with Team Salvarini, in which he drove until the end of his career in 1970. In 1967 (65th) and 1970 (88th) he rode the Tour de France . In the Giro d'Italia , 55th place was his best placement in 1969, where he won a stage in 1968. In his record as a professional driver, he has three wins.
