Lucjan Roman Lis (born August 8, 1950 in Bytom ; † January 26, 2015 ) was a Polish cyclist and world champion.

1970 Lucjan Lis was third in the Polish road championship. The following year he took third place in the team time trial at the UCI Road World Championships in Mendrisio , with Jan Smyrak , Stanisław Szozda and Edward Barcik . In 1972 he started at the Olympic Games in Munich ; with the street four (together with Barcik, Szozda and Ryszard Szurkowski ) he won the silver medal, in the individual street race he finished 36th. In the same year he came second in the Tour of Bulgaria . In 1973 he became world champion in the team time trial (together with Tadeusz Mytnik , Szozda and Szurkowski), won the Tour of Poland and took seventh place in the overall ranking of the International Peace Tour . He then resigned from cycling.

For health reasons, Lis later traveled to the Federal Republic of Germany to receive medical treatment and stayed there.

Son Lucas Liß , who was managed and looked after by his father, is also a cyclist and is particularly successful in track cycling .
