Mittelmühle is a district of the Markt Erlbach market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Ulsenbach, a left tributary of the Zenn , and on the Siedelbach, which flows into the Ulsenbach as a left tributary. The Sauberg and Tannenbuck rise around 500 meters northeast of the village, the Mühlfeld is around 750 meters to the west, and the Stößfeldlein forest area is around 500 meters to the southeast . A communal road leads to the Blümleinsmühle (0.6 km northwest) or the Wolfsmühle (0.5 km southeast). Another community connection road leads to a community connection road (0.8 km southwest) between Markt Erlbach (1.4 km west) and Unterulsenbach (1.6 km southeast).

history

Towards the end of the 18th century, the middle mill belonged to Unterulsenbach . The mill had the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Neuhof as landlord .

In 1800 the place was also called "Forrachsmühlen".

As part of the community edict, Mittelmühle was assigned to the Markt Erlbach tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Eschenbach, founded in 1813 . On September 14, 1824, the reunification took place in the rural community of Siedelbach . On January 1, 1972, Mittelmühle was incorporated into Markt Erlbach as part of the regional reform .

The place has been mostly Protestant since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Kilian (Markt Erlbach) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish to St. Michael (Wilhermsdorf) .
