NGC 1061 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type SD in the constellation triangle at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 184 million light years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years in diameter.

The property was built in 1849 by George Johnstone Stoney with William Parsons telescope Leviathan discovered.
