NGC 1110 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sm in the constellation Eridanus at the southern sky . It is estimated to be 59 million light years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1082 , NGC 1084 , NGC 1108 .
The object was discovered on December 21, 1886 by the astronomer Francis Preserved Leavenworth .
