NGC 1107 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble-type S0 in the constellation Whale south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 154 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 ly in diameter.
The object was discovered on September 2, 1864 by the astronomer Albert Marth .
