history

Nemce was founded in the 13th century by miners from Neusohl , but the first written mention (as Nemetfalva ) is only from 1473. In the Middle Ages it was owned by various citizens of Neusohl, then it belonged to the Thurzo-Fugger company and finally from 1501 to 1848 to the city of Neusohl. For this reason, the history of the place is closely linked to the city.
