Nová Ľubovňa (German Neulublau , Hungarian Újlubló , Latin Neo-Lublovia ) is a municipality in the northeastern Slovak Kraj Prešov . It is located in the Poprad valley on the Jakubianka river , three kilometers south of Stará Ľubovňa .
The place was first mentioned in 1308 under the name Liblow Pataka (Lublauer Bach), then it was mentioned in 1322 as Novum Lublo (Neulublau). He belonged to the rule of Lublauer Burg .
The early Gothic church, built around 1300, is worth seeing.
