Litmanová (German Littmannsau , Hungarian Hársád - until 1902 Littmanova ) is a municipality in northeastern Slovakia . It is located at the foot of the Ľubovnianska vrchovina and the Pienines , about 10 km from Stará Ľubovňa .

The place was first mentioned in writing as Litmanova in 1412 .

Pilgrimage chapel

Mount Zvir, three kilometers north of the community, was the scene of alleged revelations of the Virgin Mary between August 5, 1990 and August 6, 1995 , which two local girls claim to have experienced. As a result, a place of pilgrimage arose on the mountain .
