Vyšné Ružbachy (until 1927 in Slovak also "Družbachy"; German Oberrauschenbach , Hungarian Felsőzúgó - until 1902 Felsőrusbach ) is a municipality in northeastern Slovakia . It is located under the Spiš Magura Mountains, about 13 kilometers from Stará Ľubovňa and 43 kilometers from Poprad .
The place was first mentioned in 1329 as Nova Rusunbach . Today it is a health resort with mineral springs and a ski center in winter.
In addition to the actual place, the health resort Ružbachy-kúpele also belongs to the municipality.
