The Bahamas participated in the 1960 Summer Olympics in the Italian capital, Rome, with a delegation of 13 male athletes in eight competitions in two sports.

The youngest athlete was the track and field athlete Hugh Bullard (18 years and 172 days), the oldest athlete was the sailor Roy Ramsay (47 years and 336 days). It was the country’s third Summer Olympics participation .
