Kenya took part in the 1960 Summer Olympics in the Italian capital of Rome with a delegation of 27 male athletes in 13 competitions in four sports.

The youngest athlete was the hockey player Egbert Fernandes (19 years and 63 days), the oldest athlete was the sailor Anthony Bentley-Buckle (39 years and 17 days). It was the country's second summer Olympics participation .
