Pakistan took part in the 1960 Summer Olympics in the Italian capital Rome with 44 male athletes in 35 competitions in seven sports.
It was Pakistan's fourth participation in the Summer Olympics since 1948 .
The youngest athlete was sprinter Iftikhar Shah at 20 years and 74 days , and the oldest athlete was Zafar Ahmed Muhammad (47 years and 58 days).
Flag bearer
The hammer thrower Muhammed Iqbal carried the flag of Pakistan during the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium .
Medals
Each with a gold and bronze medal gained the Pakistani team finished 20th in the medals table .
