1960 Summer Olympics / Participant (Iraq)

The Iraq participated in the 1960 Summer Olympics in the Italian capital Rome part of a delegation of 21 male athletes in 23 competitions in five sports.

According to the 1948 Summer Olympics , it was the second participation of Iraq to Summer Olympic Games ..

The youngest athlete was boxer Khalid Al-Karkhi at 20 years and 11 days , and the oldest athlete was weightlifter Hadi Abdul Jabbar (30 years and 228 days).
