The Premyer Liqasi 2005/06 was the fourteenth edition of the highest football -Spielklasse of Azerbaijan . The season began on August 12, 2005 and ended on May 30, 2006. FK Baku secured the club's first championship title with one point ahead of Karvan Yevlax and four points ahead of defending champions Neftçi Baku.
