Life

Julienne began his career in motocross and won a number of titles here between 1957 and 1962 before making his debut as a stuntman in the film Fantômas in 1964 . Until the end of the 1990s he worked in many internationally very successful films with spectacular car stunts, for example in 1969 in the English cult film Charlie dusts off millions , in several Louis de Funès films - including, for example, B. Balduin, the Heiratsmuffel (1968) or The Adventures of Rabbi Jacob (1973) - and most recently in the films Taxi (1998) and Taxi Taxi (2000).
In 1970 he shot a commercial as a protagonist for the FIAT Model 124. In 1973, film producer Mario Cortesi dedicated a half-hour documentary to him with the title He dies 1000 deaths .
Between 1981 and 1995 he was also responsible for the stunt coordination of the James Bond films In Deadly Mission (1981), Octopussy (1983), In the Face of Death (1985), The Living Daylight (1987), License to Kill ( 1989) and Goldeneye (1995) responsible.
A serious incident occurred in 1999 while filming Taxi Taxi when a cameraman was killed during a stunt. Julienne then accused producer Besson of having insufficient funds for the necessary security measures. In the judicial review, however, the main part of the guilt was attributed to Julienne, whom the court found guilty of incorrectly calculating the speed of the vehicle and the length of the jump as the stunt coordinator in the corresponding stunt. Julienne was subsequently sentenced to 18 months probation and a fine of 13,000 euros for negligent homicide; an appeals court reduced the sentence in 2009 to six months' probation and a fine of 2,000 euros.
In addition to his work for film and television, Julienne designed the stunt show “Moteurs… Action!” In the Paris “ Walt Disney Studios Park ”, in which a car stunt is shown up to five times a day, which is then shown in a “cinema version “Is shown on the screen.
