Narrow-gauge railways in the GDR (stamp series)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The narrow-gauge railways in the GDR stamp series was issued by the GDR's Deutsche Post from 1980 to 1984 . In a combined print of two stamps each, all motifs show a locomotive and, after an ornamental field, a car on the same railway line. The decorative field shows the route. All stamps were designed by Detlef Glinski.

The Lipsia catalog of the GDR partly has a different order of the stamps.
