Fairy tale motifs on miniature sheets of the Deutsche Post of the GDR

The German post office of the GDR was in 1966 to 1985, a series of miniature sheet with fairytale motifs from. Of the 15 issues, nine show motifs from the fairy tales collected by the Brothers Grimm ; the other narrators were Hans Christian Andersen , Alexei Tolstoy and Alexander Sergejewitsch Pushkin . The last miniature sheet from 1985 shows a selection of the fairy tales collected by the Brothers Grimm.

The Deutsche Bundespost also issued four fairy tale motifs as welfare stamps between 1959 and 1967 .
