Someday (I Will Understand) is a pop song by the American singer Britney Spears . The piece was able to place in the charts in numerous European countries.
Emergence
Spears said she composed the piece at home on the piano two weeks before learning of her first pregnancy. She said the song was "almost like a prophecy " and "the pregnancy gave her strength".
Someday (I Will Understand) was produced by Guy Sigsworth , who had worked with Spears on Everytime in 2003.

The single Someday was released on August 21, 2005 by the record companies Jive Records and ZOMBA worldwide. It appeared in several versions at the same time. The songs Over to You Now , Mona Lisa and Chaotic can be found as B-sides on a maxi single. Another version contains two remixes as well as the instrumental piece . The Leama and Moor remix is the longest version of this title with a playing time of more than nine minutes.
On August 22, 2005, one day after the regular release, a 5 "single was released. In addition to the normal album version, it also contains the Hi-Bias Signature Radio remix . This remix can also be found on November 25, 2005 released compilation B in the Mix: The Remixes .
Chart positions and success
In Switzerland , the song rose to number eight on September 4, 2005. In Sweden finished Someday tenth and Denmark eighth. In Belgium , Finland and the Netherlands the song reached a top 20 ranking. In Germany , the song reached rank 22 and stayed there for nine weeks.

Music video
The music video for the song was shot in black and white and premiered on June 14, 2005. The video shoot was directed by Michael Haussman.
In the music clip, Spears is lying on a bed with his eyes closed and lolling there. Then she opens her eyes and starts singing. You can also see Spears standing in front of a mirror. In the video she wears a white dress.
