The stumbling blocks in Tuscany provide an overview of the Tuscany laid stumbling blocks . They remind of the fate of the people of this region who were murdered, deported, expelled or driven to suicide by the National Socialists . The stumbling blocks were laid by Gunter Demnig . As a rule, they are in front of the victim's last self-chosen place of residence. Its name is in Italian: Pietre d'inciampo .

Demnig has been laying in Tuscany since 2013. The first four Stolpersteins were laid on January 17, 2013 in Livorno.
