The Taiwanese national women's soccer team represents the Republic of China (Taiwan) in international women's soccer . Since the 1980s, she joined international competitions as women's national soccer team of Chinese Taipei on (see: Chinese Taipei ) . The national team is subordinate to the Chinese Taipei Football Association and is coached by Huang Yu Chuan.
The Taiwanese selection has been three times Asian and twice Oceanian champions . Along with Australia and New Zealand , Taiwan is one of the three national teams that have won the continental championships of two confederations. During this time Taiwan did not take part in the Asian Championships. Since the turn of the millennium, the team at the Asian Cup has not made it past the preliminary round and has recently not been able to qualify.
Taiwan ranked 22nd when it launched the FIFA World Ranking in July 2003.
