Tasso ( Corsican U Tassu ) is a municipality in the French department of Corse-du-Sud on the Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Taravo-Ornano in the Arrondissement of Ajaccio and borders in the north-west on Bastelica , in the north-east on Ciamannacce , in the east on Sampolo , in the south-east on Zicavo and in the south-west on Guitera-les-Bains . The settlement area is 850 meters above sea level. The residents call themselves Tassinchi .
