Tobin Island is a small, uninhabited island on the Torres Strait in the Pacific Ocean, northeast of Moa Island . With the island of Portlock just under 1.5 kilometers southeast, it belongs to the group of the Kulbi Islands .
The flat, almost vegetation-free island is surrounded by a dense fringing reef. Politically, it belongs to the Australian state of Queensland .
