The Three Sisters (German: The Three Sisters ) refer to a small group of islands in the east of the Australian Torres Strait Islands .
The islands are about 100 km northeast of Thursday Island , the main island in Torres Strait .
Only Sue Island ( Warraber ), the middle one of the "sisters", is inhabited. It has a runway for small aircraft that is almost 1,000 meters long .

1) Bet Island and Vin Islet are located on the same 28.7 km² reef platform Bet Islet Reef in the west and east, around 11 km apart.
Administratively, the islands are part of the Central Islands , an island region in the Torres Shire county of Queensland .
