The ATP Challenger Birmingham (officially: Birmingham Challenger ) was a tennis tournament that was held annually from 1991 to 2003 in Birmingham , Alabama . In 1978 there was an edition. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour and was played outdoors on clay. Mikael Pernfors was the only player to win the tournament several times.
