Almila Bağrıaçık , German: Almila Bagriacik (born July 10, 1990 in Ankara ) is a German- Turkish actress living in Germany .

life and career

Almila Bagriacik was born in 1990 in the Turkish capital Ankara. Her parents, who worked as correspondents for the Turkish media, moved to Berlin in 1995 , where Almila Bagriacik grew up bilingually . In 2008 a photographer in the Kreuzberg club SO36 noticed her and invited her to a casting. She got a role in the " Ehrenmord " drama Die Fremde by the director Feo Aladag , which premiered in 2010 at the Berlinale .

Almila Bagriacik then played in numerous TV and film productions such as Der Kriminalist , Der Alte , Tatort or 300 Wort Deutsch . Between 2008 and 2010 she was also the leading actress in the play Ein Warngedicht u. a. in the Berlin HAU-Theater and in the Munich Kammerspiele on stage. The production was awarded the Brothers Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin in 2009.

Almila Bagriacik played her first leading role in a movie in the feature film Hördur , which was released in German cinemas on October 29, 2015. The German film and media rating described their cast as a "stroke of luck". The Association of German Film Critics nominated Almila Bagriacik for her performance in Hördur as Best Actress 2015.

In the first- - television series Commissioner Pasha almila bagriacik took over in 2015, the main role of the investigator Jale Cengiz. The two films, Commissioner Pascha and Bierleichen , celebrated their TV premiere on March 16 and 23, 2017. From the end of 2015 to 2017 Almila Bagriacik played the continuous role Filiz in the Turkish series Hayat Şarkisi .

Since mid-2017 she has been playing the Kiel crime scene commissioner Mila Sahin for NDR alongside Axel Milberg , see also Klaus Borowski . For the episode Borowski and the Curse of the White Seagull , she recorded the title song flies together with the rapper Sero , who played a supporting role in this episode .

Other projects, in addition to the Kiel crime scene episodes, include leading roles in the cinema productions Nur eine Frau (Director: Sherry Hormann ) and Im Feuer (Director: Daphne Charizani ), which were released in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
