The Hemau District Office existed from 1862 to 1879 in the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Palatinate . It was formed in 1862 as part of the administrative reorganization of the Kingdom of Bavaria from the Hemau and Riedenburg regional courts . The administrative seat was the city of Hemau .
With effect from October 1, 1879, the Hemau District Office was dissolved. The area of the judicial district of Hemau was divided: five communities were incorporated into the district office Stadtamhof . The rest, including the city of Hemau itself, came to the newly formed Parsberg district office . The area of the judicial district of Riedenburg was added to the Beilngries district office , which was reclassified from Middle Franconia .
