description

Nothing is known about the development of the oval castle complex. In 1568 the cartographer and heraldist Philipp Apian describes the complex, which is surrounded by a curtain wall, as a fortress with a tower-like structure with a turret , another castle building and a high semicircular bastion . In 1906 terraces and a rock vault were still recognizable and a two-story successor building existed. Today the Burgstall is built over with an agricultural enterprise and is a ground monument .
