technology
The fuel cell technology is based on that of the HydroGen3 from Opel and has an output of 94 kW. A lithium-ion battery supports the fuel cell as an energy store. This accumulator, in turn, can contribute 65 kW. The all-wheel drive is provided by the 60 kW front motor and the two 25 kW wheel hub motors in the rear wheels. The top speed is specified as 145 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 10 seconds. The pressure tanks designed for 700 bar can store 8 kilograms of hydrogen.
In 2006, an improved version of the Sequel was presented under the Chevrolet trademark . With this improved vehicle, a high-profile trip of 300 miles (480 kilometers) was completed without refueling.
The successor was the GM HydroGen4 .
