Coca-Cola HBC is a company based in Steinhausen ZG near Zug in Switzerland that produces and bottles products under license from the Coca Cola Company . The company has been listed on the Athens Stock Exchange since 1991 and the London Stock Exchange since 2013 . The company was also listed on the New York Stock Exchange until July 24, 2014 .

Coca-Cola HBC emerged in 2000 from the merger of the Athens-based Hellenic Bottling Company (previously also 3E or TriaEpsilon), founded in 1969, and the London-based Coca-Cola Beverages . The company produces and sells the products of the Coca-Cola Company in 28 countries, including Nigeria , Austria and Italy as well as all of Eastern Europe including Russia . Products from other companies are also bottled and sold, such as Nestea.

The Austrian mineral water brand Römerquelle and the Swiss Valser also belong to Coca-Cola HBC .

Coca-Cola HBC is 23% owned by The Coca-Cola Company , 23% owned by Kar-Tess-Holding (holding of the Leventis and David families from Greece, the heirs of Anastasios George Leventis ) and 54% in Free float.

In October 2012, Coca Cola HBC announced that it would move its headquarters from Marousi near Athens to Switzerland and its main listing on the London Stock Exchange. The company rejected criticism that it was moving for tax reasons. There are several factors responsible.

On September 20, 2013, Coca-Cola HBC was included in the UK's leading index, the FTSE 100 .
