The Communauté de communes de Lacq is a former community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the southern French department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the Aquitaine region .

history

After the failed proposal to form two districts, the District de Lacq , comprising 16 parishes, was formed on July 1, 1974 by decree . On June 15, 2000 this was transformed into a Communauté de communes. After a decree of November 4, 2010, the 31 municipalities of the dissolved municipal associations of Arthez , Lagor and Monein were added to the Communauté de communes de Lacq on January 1, 2011 .
