history
The place was first mentioned on August 2, 1307 as "Dvrrenbvch" in a document in which Viscount Frederick IV. The Monastery of St. Clare Nuremberg income transferred one good in this place. In 1329 and 1402 nobles of the Seckendorff family were mentioned in "Durrenbuch" and "Dürrenpuch", respectively. In 1330 it was mentioned that the imperial city of Nuremberg also owned "Dvrrenbuch". In 1361/64 it is mentioned in the Burggräflichen Salbuch that the place was subordinate to the Burggräflichen Schauerberg . 1402 it is mentioned in the Salbuch of Heilsbronn Monastery that it owned two properties in "Du e rnpuch". The Langenzenn monastery had five properties there, the Teutonic Order three properties.
At the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties in Dürrnbuch. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The village and township government had the box and jurisdiction office Emskirchen held. The landlords were the Principality of Bayreuth (14 properties; caste and jurisdiction office Emskirchen: 1 inn, 2 goods, 2 drip houses , 1 forge; caste office Neuhof : 2 goods; monastery office Langenzenn : 6 goods) and the St. Klara monastery office of the imperial city of Nuremberg ( 1 half yard, 1 good).
In 1810 Dürrnbuch came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, it was assigned to the Emskirchen tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Dürrnbuch was formed, to which Neidhardswinden and Finkenmühle belonged. With the second community edict (1818), the rural community was split into
- Rural community Dürrnbuch;
- Neidhardswinden rural community with Finkenmühle.
The administration and jurisdiction of the rural community Dürrnbuch was subordinate to the Markt Erlbach regional court and the tax office to the Neustadt an der Aisch rent office . From 1862 Dürrnbuch was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch District Office (renamed Neustadt an der Aisch in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach Rent Office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 5.159 km².
On January 1, 1972, Dürrnbuch was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
