The Droga wojewódzka 205 ( DW 205 ) is a provincial road in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . In a north-south direction it connects the Baltic Sea town of Darłowo ( Rügenwalde ) with Sławno ( Schlawe ), Polanów ( Pollnow ) and Bobolice ( Bublitz ). The DW 205 crosses the Powiat Sławieński ( Schlawe district ) and the eastern part of the Koszaliński Powiat ( Köslin district ). The total length of the road in the far east of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship is 80 kilometers.

In terms of traffic, the DW 205 is today a link between the Baltic Sea coast (ferry connection from Darłówko to Nexø on Bornholm / Denmark ) with three trunk roads: at Sławno the DK 6 / European route 28 ( Berlin - Stettin - Danzig ) and at Bobolice the DK 11 ( Koszalin ( Köslin ) - Poznań ( Posen ) - Bytom ( Bytom ( Bytom / Upper Silesia )) as well as DK 25 (Bobolice - Bydgoszcz ( Bromberg ) - Konin - Oleśnica ( Oels / Silesia )).

Between Sławno and Bobolice , DW 205 uses the route of the former German Reichsstrasse 159 , which at the time connected Reichsstrasse 2 ( Berlin - Stettin - Danzig - Dirschau ) from Schlawe to Reichsstrasse 160 ( Kolberg - Schneidemühl - Kolmar in Posen ) in Bublitz and continued to Tempelburg (Czaplinek) to Reichsstraße 124 ( Kolberg - Belgard - Deutsch Krone ).
