history

The first written mention of Kis-Iratos comes from 1773.

Over the centuries different spellings of the place name appeared: 1773 Kis-Iratos , 1828 Kis-Iratos , 1839 Kis-Iratos , 1847 Kis-Iratos , 1851 Kis-Iratos , 1858 Kis-Iratos , 1863 Kis-Iratos , 1873 Iratos , 1877 Iratos , 1882 Iratos , 1893 Kis-Iratos , 1913 Kisiratos , 1921 Iratoşul mic , Kisiratos , 1925 Dorobanţi , 1950 Dorobanţi .

After the Peace of Karlowitz (1699), Arad and the Maroscher Land came under Austrian rule , while the Banat south of the Marosch remained under Turkish rule until the Peace of Passarowitz (1718) . In 1828 the Szalbek family bought the Kis-Iratos estate from the Ärar .

As a result of the Austro-Hungarian Compromise (1867), the Arad region, like the whole of Banat and Transylvania, was annexed to the Kingdom of Hungary within the Austro-Hungarian dual monarchy . The official place name was Kisiratos .

The Treaty of Trianon on June 4, 1920 resulted in the regulation of borders , whereby Dorobanți fell to the Kingdom of Romania . In 1990 the thermal bath in Dorobanți was opened. The 36–40 degrees Celsius warm water is suitable for treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system. There is also a campsite on the 1.5 hectare site.
