Dundee East is a constituency for the British House of Commons . It was created in 1950, but the boundaries have been redrawn several times over the decades. Dundee East includes the eastern part of the city of Dundee , but also small areas of the Council Area Angus with the cities of Monifieth and Carnoustie . The constituency of Dundee East for the Scottish Parliament was congruent until 2005 and was dissolved in 2011 in favor of Dundee City East . The constituency sends a representative.
