coat of arms
The municipal coat of arms was awarded with effect from January 10, 2016.
The blazon (coat of arms description) reads:
- "In front of a silver shield, divided diagonally to the right, a black Bessemer pear swiveled diagonally to the right in its bearing with three red flames leaping out of the mouth, behind in green a silver covered and windowless salt barn, topped with a blue sword placed in stakes."
In the new coat of arms, the representations of the two coats of arms of the old communities of Predlitz-Turrach and Stadl an der Mur were essentially adopted and thus an optimally successful "symbol of togetherness" was created.
traffic
In Predlitz, Murauer Straße (B 97), which follows the Murtal downhill, branches off from Turracher Straße (B 95), which, coming from Turracher Höhe, continues towards Tamsweg through the upper Murtal.
