European Cup Winners' Cup (handball) 1988/89

The 1988/89 European Cup Winners' Cup was the 14th edition of the competition for European handball cup winners . The 25 participating teams qualified in their home countries through the national cup competition for the European Cup organized by the International Handball Federation (IHF) . In the final, TUSEM Essen prevailed against the French representative US Créteil HB (16:17, 19:16).
