Fabrezan is a commune with 1291 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in France and is located in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . Fabrezan is part of the Communauté de communes Région Lézignanaise, Corbières et Minervois . The place lies at the confluence of the Orbieu and Nielle rivers. The writer and inventor Charles Cros was born here in 1842.

The inhabitants of the municipality are called Fabrezanais .

Part of the agricultural land is used for viticulture and the vineyards are within the protected designation of origin Corbières .
