This discography is an overview of the musical works of the Austrian musician Falco .
According to the record awards, he has sold over 8.9 million records in his career, including 600,000 in Austria , 3.975 million in Germany and 105,000 in Switzerland . Until 2017 he topped the Austrian music charts 15 times.
Falco published his first song That Scene in 1981. With his second piece Der Kommissar he achieved his international breakthrough. The song made it to number one in Germany and Austria and made it to number 10 on Billboard Dance Club Songs in the United States .

Trivia
Pascal Gabriel, who later also wrote music by Dido and Kylie Minogue , released remix versions of Rock Me Amadeus and Der Kommissar as singles for the album The Remix Hit Collection in 1991 .
Tribute to Falco by “The Bolland Project feat. Alida ”reached number 95 in the German charts in 1998.
In 2004, for the Austrian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest, the title Sexuality , written by Falco but previously unpublished and sung by André Leherb , was submitted. He finished ninth and penultimate place.
Falco in the film
In the mid-1980s, Falco also tried his hand at acting. He was in The Formula One film and money or liver! , at the side of Mike Krüger, with. Both times he played himself. In addition, before his breakthrough in 1981, he played a bassist in an episode of the Austrian crime series Kottan determined .

Falco's life was filmed in 2007 by the Graz director Thomas Roth . Falco - Damn it, we're still alive! was released in Austrian cinemas on February 7, 2008, and in Germany on June 5, 2008. The Austrian singer of the band Mondscheiner Manuel Rubey plays the leading role . Shortly after the film started in Austria, the film became one of the most successful Austrian film productions, but the reviews were sometimes negative.
