Florian Eichner

Florian Eichner (born December 16, 1985 in Quedlinburg ) is a German oarsman. In 2006 he became world champion in the four-man team .

Florian Eichner starts for the Hallesche rowing association Böllberg / Nelson at SV Halle and trains with Klaus Ritter. Already in the age group of the under 23-year-olds he reached two world championship finals. But he won his first medal on his debut in the adult class. At the 2006 World Championships in Eton, the four from Florian Eichner, Philipp Naruhn , Jan-Martin Bröer and Matthias Flach won with the helmsman Martin Sauer . For the 2007 World Cup in Munich, Eichner moved to Germany eighth , with which he won silver. Most recently he finished fourth at the DRV small boat inspection in Cologne together with his two-man partner René Bertram and is therefore safe in the national team at the next World Cup in Munich in 2010.

Florian Eichner lives in Halle (Saale) and studies law.
