Gesturi is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1206 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sud Sardegna in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 39 kilometers northeast of Villacidro and about 21 kilometers northeast of Sanluri .
The parish church of Santa Teresa d'Avila in Gesturi is the oldest example of Gothic-Catalan architecture in Sardinia. The keystone of the elegant star vault of the Capilla Mayor bears the date 1674.
