Nuragus is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 862 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sud Sardegna in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 63 kilometers north of Cagliari and borders directly on the province of Nuoro .

history

Several well sanctuaries ( well sanctuary of Coni and Forraxi Nioi), the nuragic settlement of Genoni , the well sanctuary of Su Putzu and the nuraghi (Santu Millanu) are located in the parish, whose name is derived from the latter.
