Samassi is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5018 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sud Sardegna in Sardinia . The community is located about 9 kilometers south of Sanluri and about 14 kilometers northwest of Villacidro on Flumi Mannu .

In the municipality there is a necropolis of the Vandals from the 5th century AD.
