Portoscuso is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4998 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sud Sardegna in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 13.5 kilometers northwest of Carbonia and about 17.5 kilometers southwest of Iglesias on the Parco Geominerario Storico ed Ambientale della Sardegna and on the Mediterranean.
