Sardara is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3948 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sud Sardegna in Sardinia .
geography
The municipality is located about 20 kilometers northeast of Villacidro and about 10 kilometers northwest of Sanluri . Sardara borders directly on the province of Oristano . The neighboring municipalities are Collinas , Mogoro (OR), Pabillonis , San Gavino Monreale , Sanluri and Villanovaforru .

Sardara is home to one of the best preserved fountain sanctuaries in Sardinia.
