Lunamatrona is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1661 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sud Sardegna in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 25.5 kilometers northeast of Villacidro and about 9 kilometers north of Sanluri .
The giant grave of Su cuaddu 'e Nixias (also Su Quaddu de Nixias) is located near Lunamatrona.
